Filipino Martial Arts
Kali is a complete fighting system in the Filipino Martial Arts. It encompasses all ranges of fighting, from long range to infighting to grappling and it's concepts apply to weapons and the empty hand as well. The skills and techniques learned in Kali make it a formitable self-defense system, as well as an effecive combat art. Kali training drills will improve coordination and dexterity, condition the body, focus the mind and help the student grasp the concepts of fighting from any and all angles of attack.
Weaponry used in Kali are the single stick, double stick, sword and dagger(stick & training knife), the single and double daggers(again, training weapons are substituted for the real thing), staff, sarong and a host of complimentary weapons including the use of no weapon at all. Trainging in Kali will open the practicioner's "third eye" and give a new awareness of fighting and self defense.
